Breakthrough St Paul
Join the Tutor Corps at Breakthrough Saint Paul! Breakthrough Saint Paul is expanding our corps of tutors to call upon when our 7th-12th grade students need extra academic support during the 2010-2011 school year. We are seeking tutors for math, science, reading, and writing. Tutors will be paired with students based on student needs, geographical compatibility, and tutor areas of expertise. Tutors and students will meet at a mutually selected public location, ideally the student¹s school or a Saint Paul Public Library. Tutors are asked to make a 2 hour/week commitment for a period of 3 months. Tutors are also required to attend a training scheduled for January 29th, 2011 in order to begin tutoring in February.

Breakthrough Saint Paul is looking for a diverse group of talented undergraduate and high school students (juniors/seniors) to teach and lead at an innovative academic summer program for highly motivated, under-resourced middle school students in Saint Paul. Breakthrough provides paid summer teaching internships, complete with training and classroom teaching experience.
Open to all majors!
